Compassplant (Silphium laciniatum), golden Alexander (Zizia aurea), switchgrass (Panicum virgatum), gray-headed coneflower (Ratibida pinnata), purple prairie clover (Dalea purpurea), and leadplant (Amorpha canescens) cast together in a plaster bas relief panel, approximately 8.25" W × 11.5" H × 0.6" D, in pale green plaster with a warm natural clay residue tint — six of the most iconic Midwest prairie natives captured together in handcrafted plaster, the deeply lobed leaves of compassplant and the flat-topped clusters of golden Alexander anchoring a richly layered composition that rewards a closer look every time. The pale green plaster with clay residue gives the piece a sun-warmed, earthy quality that suits these native plants beautifully. Protected with matte acrylic varnish.
