gray-headed coneflower (Ratibida pinnata), wild quinine (Parthenium integrifolium), prairie cinquefoil (Potentilla arguta), and switchgrass cast together in a plaster bas relief panel, approximately 6.5" W × 12.7" H × 0.6" D, portrait orientation, in light gray plaster with natural clay mold staining — a midsummer Midwest prairie composition, the tall drooping rays of gray-headed coneflower and the flat-topped clusters of wild quinine captured together in handcrafted plaster with all of their fine botanical detail intact. The light gray plaster with clay staining gives the piece a cool, refined quality that lets the sculptural plant forms take center stage. Protected with archival matte acrylic varnish. Embedded picture wire loop on back for easy hanging. Certificate of Authenticity included.
Because this piece is cast directly from real prairie plants, it is entirely one of a kind — this exact cast exists nowhere else in the world. When it sells, it’s gone.
Perfect as a Midwest native prairie statement for a living room, study, or gallery wall, a housewarming or nature lover’s gift, or a meaningful accent for any prairie-inspired space.
